WORKSHOP IN GRANADA
An opportunity to take part in a unique educational activity in which students learn about techniques used by architects of the Christian Middle Ages.
 
What do we do. Participants, organized in teams, handle 13-knot ropes, Romanesque and Gothic architectural models, and archipendulums, becoming architects for a day using the tools of the past.
Depending on their level, they explore everything from basic geometric shapes (triangles, squares, cubes) to more complex theorems such as the Fibonacci sequence, Pythagoras, …..
 

 
Length: 1,30 h
Materials: 5 Gothic + 5 Romanesque Models, 13 knot ropes, worksheet and Cathedral Maps
Fees: 8 €. Extra ENG/FRA: 1 €/pax. Fees with 40 participants minimum.
 
What´s included: 1 specialized monitor, classrooms in central Granada (less than 500 m away from Granada´s cathedral). Models  and VAT.
