Learn basic concepts of the granadian marquetry (taracea) and elaborate your first inlay masterpiece (marquetry from Granada): make a chessboard in 2 hours.
 
On a wooden base, the apprentice traces the geometric pattern and then measures and cuts the different materials and glues them together with the artisans’ tools.
 
*The chessboard could be glazed in your locality in any workshop that works with wood (carpentry, joinery, furniture manufacture and repair,…) or in our workshops in Granada (supplement: 5 €/board + courier delivery costs). Please contact us for a personalised quote.

 
The “Alhambra Experience” will be an unforgettable, special and unique souvenir of the Granada of the Alhambra.
 
This workshop will take you to experience the spirit of the Hispano-Muslim craftsmen in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere under the tutelage of one of our craftsmen.

· Adults: 59 €
· Kids (6-14 años): 39 €
Private groups: 15 maximum/shift. Ask for our special rates.
Included: 1 artisan, multimedia installations, all necessary materials, piece made by the participants and VAT.
